2012 Christmas Card

After deciding to not get our pictures professionally taken this year because it just turns distastrious. I thought I would dress the girls up at home when they were in their silly moods. Because clearly it would go much better right? Ugh?! Is there ever a parent, okay Mom, out there that isn't completely exhausted after trying to get the "perfect" picture of their kids? Well this is the best I could get of our 3 monkeys:

Update

Upate on the girls. With three kids running around I never seem to find the time to be writing down memorable things the girls will probably ask me when they are older. The other day I took 10 minutes to just write down a few things so that when I had a minute I could stuff it in a baby book or write it on here so we have this to look back on. So here is an update on the girls:

Corah – You currently weigh 26lbs. Just went to the doctor last week for a follow up xray on your lung. Haven't heard anything back yet. But we are hoping for a 100% healthy lung. You just took your first steps last week, and seem to have mastered it pretty quickly as you are now able to almost keep up with your sisters. You are a feisty thing, and rarely ever cry unless you are tired or hungry. You fight for what you want until you get it. I thought your sisters could scream, but you blow them out of the water! You can say Dadda, Mama, ball, puppy, hi, bye. You love giving hugs and kisses to your sisters. You are Mommy’s cuddle bug. You always want Mommy. It's hard for me to get anything done, but I love cuddling with you any chance I get! Every time I ask you if you love your Mama you always shake your head yes! You are such a good eater and will eat anything I put in front of you.  

Amyah – My little firecracker. You cry, whine, and throw a fit if you don’t get your way. You won’t wait to hear an explanation at all, you want what you want and there is no changing your mind. I am hoping these are soon fading away. You love yogurt and cheese. You are always taking care of Mommy and giving me hugs and kisses if I am sad or hurt (as in stubbing toe). You are very protective of Corah and are always taking care of her. You two are the best of friends, and for the most part play really well together. The other night you had Corah’s hands and were helping her walk! You love Dora, Max and Ruby and Minne Mouse.

Karenza – you are currently in soccer, and we are constantly on the go to either practice or to games. Your sisters love to cheer you on. You are busy in school and do really well. You’re a good kid, and listen for the most part and follow rules. Usually during the week when we get home from school you are out riding your bike in the neighborhood until supper is ready. You are an excellent reader and read almost every night to Mom. You love pizza, and you still love being with your family. Although I can see glimpses of being with friends constantly is soon coming!

Corah's 1st Bday

Since I don't have much time to myself these days I don't have time to keep this blog updated on what's been happening with my girls. I quickly post comments/pictures ect. on Facebook with my phone while I'm washing hair/giving baths/waiting for clothes to dry/ect. I started this blog prior to the two additional children we've added in hopes that I can come back here and reminisce in the years to come over the funny things they did or said. I was so good with Karenza even writing in a book with the silly comments or things she did. The other two not so much. So since I use facebook for pictures I thought even if I logged on in the evenings and just wrote short little letters to my girls on the funny things they did or said might work. As my family grows, and duties get busier with having 3 kids I've learned to roll with the punches and not be so in control of everything. So since it's been since September since I've last posted I figured since our sweet Miss Corah turns 1 tomorrow that this post would be about here and what she's up to these days.

Miss Corah -

You will be turning 1 tomorrow, and I just can not wrap my mind around it. This has certainly been the fastest year of my life. In the short 12 months you've joined us you have expanded our hearts more than we ever knew they could. You have definitely been such a blessing to us. You are such a sweet, easy, go with the flow baby. Your first word was Mama! I was so thrilled because Amyah and Karenza both said Dadda first. You are such a Mama's girl. You love your Mama. You give me hugs, kisses, lay your head on my shoulder and pat my back. You are constantly touching my face, playing with my hair. Scrunching up your nose and then clap your hands. You can play patty cake, say "up". You are currently wear a size 12, and can still fit in some 9 month pants. You are my innie-minnie. You wear a size 4 diaper. Probably could still be in a 3, but I was tired of buying two different sizes for you and Amyah so I put you in a size 4 too so I could buy economy size! :) You have "army" crawled for several months, but really have been crawling on all fours this past month. You pull yourself up on furniture and walk along the coffee table but you haven't take a first step yet. Kinda hard when you have two younger sisters who play house and love you to be their baby. You just go with the flow and don't mind being toted around. You have not yet slept through the night. But, Daddy and Mommy take turns getting up with you. It's only a short time in my life as I know you'll soon grow out of this. Plus I've been getting up since I've been pregnant with Amyah and Mommy really has no idea what it's like to sleep longer than 3 hours at a time any way. Oh, my sweet precious Corah. I can not imagine you in our lives. I never thought I'd ever be a Mama to 3 precious girls. You three are my pride and joy. Happy 1st birthday my love. ~ Love, Mama

Wow!

I haven't posted in almost a year! Probably because since on about the day I posted last we found out we would be adding to our family again! Yup, we are now a family of 5! Amyah and Corah (our newest addition) are only 19 months apart. We were blessed with another baby girl on May 31st 2011. She is healthy and a happy baby. She is almost rolling over now!

I was on here the other day browsing through my old posts of when I only had Karenza. Oh, if I just knew what busy really was then! I was really enjoying reading through my old posts. I had totally forgot about some things. I am so glad I wrote when I had the chance/time! I don't have much free time these days with working full time, and with three very busy girls! But, I am going to try and post more so that in the future I'll be able to look back at my crazy life! So I guess I'll just post some pictures and will try and post more again soon. We are currently planning for two birthday parties that will soon be happening in our house, and it's not the hubby's or mine!

What a busy week at our household! Karenza turned 6 on Thursday, and Amyah turned 1 yesterday. My girls are growing up way too fast! This past year seems to have went the fastest, but maybe that's because we are having so much fun! Below are pictures of our week:

Karenza on Wednesday October 20th. The day she celebrated her birthday at school. She didn't have school Thursday or Friday this week so she was able to celebrate early at school. She took cupcakes to share with the class.

Amyah Walking

We have been so busy with work, school, dance, and a baby that is now walking that I don't have much time to update my blog anymore. I wanted to share this video of Amyah walking as she is almost a pro now! Now I am definitely busy! We have two beautiful very different girls. It's just amazing to see such a different baby, and such a different personality then what we're used to. Amyah is so lovey, quiet, shy, and reserved. Way different then her sister. Karenza was on the go 100% of the time. Talks constantly, and needs to be entertained 24/7. She needed you to play with her and keep her entertained. Amyah is so reserved and is content sitting by herself with her toys. She loves to be cuddled, and she loves to cuddle with other people. She is sometimes shy, but will still go to most people. She loves the older people at church, as much as they love her. Karenza is loving kindergarten. She's doing really well, and making tons of friends! She has hip-hop dance every Tuesday night after school which she loves. Work is going well. Super busy and learning new stuff everyday. I started taking on some new responsibilities with payroll that I've never done before, but it's an experience and I'm always open to learning new things and taking on challenges. This is a busy month for us with Randy's birthday on October 1st. I can't believe Karenza will be 6 on the 21st, and my baby is 1 already! Where did the time go? Didn't seem like she was a baby for very long. Then of course I wrap up the month with my birthday. This month is just as busy as Christmas it seems like trying to fit everything in. Hope everyone is well, and hopefully I'll try to find a little more "me" time and can update more on my beautiful girls!

Haven't updated in a while so I thought I'd post some new pictures over the last few weeks.

This is Amyah's new thing sticking her lip in. She smiles so cute, but when I get the camera out it is so hard to capture it!
My big girl! This used to be Karenza's outfit. Karenza wore this when she was 12 months old. Amyah fits it at 6 months YIKES!

You have to listen closely but you can hear Karenza scream "GET IT!!" That is all she would scream when the other team had the ball!

Towards the end of the video you have to watch her "guard" as the other team is trying to kick the ball in. We've had a talk about this, and so we'll see if she doesn't do it in future games.

The above video is of Amyah. I finally got her on camera giggling!!

The below video is of Karenza at her first soccer practice. She will definitely speed it up that's for sure. When they were scrimmaging during practice she was on defense first, and when offense kicked the ball the other girls were in her way of trying to get to the ball. All she would do is scream "GET THE BALL, GET IT!!!!" LOL Her first game is on Saturday. I can't wait. It should be interesting, and fun!
